2009 SALSA FIESTA IS ON SEPTEMBER 19TH.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE 6TH ANNUAL SALSA FIESTA IN MIDDLETON, WISCONSIN  TO SUPPORT LA GLORIA ENGLISH SCHOOL ON ISLA MUJERES NEAR CANCUN, MEXICO!

We will have a silent and live auction again this year, after having great fun with it last year.  People were very generous with their bids, knowing that all proceeds will go towards helping the school.  Like last year, the design of the flyer (above) was donated by Katie Brown, and the printing was donated by Kirk Lynch of Ricoh Copiers.  Mid Town Pub is donating the space and Lyle Wanless of Town and Country Auctioneers is donating his time as well.  With this generous help, there is almost no overhead for the event, meaning your bids and donations will directly help the school.

This year we are asking individuals to become Sponsors of the event, at several levels:    ’Mild’ – $35 (gets you 2 complimentary entrys to the Fiesta);   ‘Medium’ – $70 (gets you free entrys and 2 free drinks);  ’Hot’ – $125;  ’Extra Hot!’ – over $125;  or  ’To Taste’.   All Sponsors will be recognized on the program for the Salsa Fiesta.   We hope to see you at the Salsa Fiesta this year, but if not, consider becoming a sponsor!

Auction items are still coming in, but so far we have some annual favorites and a some new things including several week long stays on Isla Mujeres, a week at Sun Peaks in British Columbia, meal cruises on the Betty Lou in Madison, Comedy Club tickets, a case of Wisconsin pure Maple Syrup, a Cessna plane ride over Dane County, original hand woven baskets, jewelry and more.  We will keep you posted with updates as we get them.  Put September 19th on your calendar and plan for an afternoon of fun!
